Exporting Multiple Files from Projektstruktur

When you want to download (export) multiple files from Projektstruktur to your computer, it's recommended to use the [Download Files (ZIP)] tool. This tool compresses your files and saves their folder structure (path) into a single file, known as a Zip file, which you can download.

The [Download Files (ZIP)] tool is accessible from most document lists in Projektstruktur, such as document view, the trash bin, etc.

Steps to Use the Tool

1. Navigate to the document(s) you wish to download.

2. Select the desired document(s).

3. Choose the "Actions" menu.

4. Select the [Download Files (ZIP)] tool.

5. A pop-up window will appear, prompting you to decide if you want to download the external references of the file(s). If you want to include external references, select "Include external references"; otherwise, pick "Exclude external references" from the drop-down menu.

6. Click [OK].

7. Choose [Continue].

8. The system compresses your selected documents into a Zip file.

9. Click the link [Download Zip Archive] to save the compressed file to your computer.

10. You will then have the option to save your Zip file to any location on your computer.

When you open your Zip file (using software like WinZip or by selecting the "Extract All..." option from the right-click menu in Windows Explorer), all your chosen documents and their respective folder structures will be present. This tool ensures that you have an identical copy of the document and folder structure on your own computer!
